Society of Explorers Showcase
During our closure, our Society of Explorers have continued to meet weekly at Site and other venues across the city and the Art Van has been out and about working on off-site projects with new partners and friends across Sheffield. Join the collective as they share stories of their own experiences, and introduce their collaborators.
Expect:
Artist Christopher Jarratt presenting a new work; BIG LIFTA – a film and installation made in collaboration with ChilyPep.
A new film made in collaboration with ArtWorks, a creative arts organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities. Artists from ArtWorks interview artists and musicians at our music festival Site Gallery Introducing.
A film co-produced the Explorers, where they discuss their projects and the impact it has made on their lives.
Nottingham based printmakers Dizzy Ink will be here for a free DIY Riso workshop. Make your own artworks inspired by The Society of Explorers’ manifesto. They will be here throughout the day, so drop in any time.

Social Speed Dating from 10am
Join Wayward for a social speed dating breakfast for inspiration, collaboration, vision and partnerships for The Square.
