Rachael Colley is an interdisciplinary artist and Senior lecturer in Jewellery and Metalwork at Sheffield Hallam University. Her current research and art practice focuses on jewellery, food waste and cutlery, exploring the ways in which we as humans consume food. Through experimental performative dining events, installations and visual art projects, the use of food waste, the body and jewellery design are used in Rachael’s practice to challenge the way we connect to food.

Rachael has exhibited her work internationally and a piece from her Sha-green jewellery series is held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Crafts Itami, Japan. She has a B.A. (Hons) in 3D Design, specialising in Jewellery and Silversmithing, and an MA in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery from the Royal College of Art.
