This 2-hour workshop will explore block printing techniques on fabric to create a unique calico cushion or ‘mini bean bag’ that will be filled with natural buckwheat hulls as used in traditional Japanese soft furnishing and yoga bolsters.

Participants will be invited to create their own unique fabric prints to keep and take home (cushion and buckwheat hulls supplied).  The workshop will explore block printing techniques on fabric. Guests will be invited to create their own unique fabric prints to keep and take home.

Natalie Finnemore’s  practice encompasses drawing, printmaking and sculpture. A trend for play or interaction from the audience has continued through her sculpture works.
